Girls Like Football Too

By admin on Oct 11, 2009 | In Sports | 2 feedbacks »

Football is a great sport for bringing people together. Football parties can be a lot of fun and very exciting. Especially if your team is winning. Taking your date to a sports bar or resturant can be a great date. Of course if you are rooting for different teams, this may be a little bit of a challange. Just remember not too be a sore winner. Rubbing it in a little too hard may spoil your chances of another date.

A lot of women like football and would enjoy a Sunday out. Food, drink, and excitement. What more can a girl ask for. They even have women's type clothing for your favorite sports teams that look great and show your team spirit. The styles look adorable and you will too.

Ladies, if your man is a big football fan, do not try to discourage him from watching games or think that it is more important then you are, join the fun. Even if you do not know any of the rules, you can still enjoy watching with your partner. This is not just football but any sport that he may like.

If you are not the going out type of person there are things you can do at home to make your Sundays more enjoyable. Make football themed food to eat while watching the game, or if you like to bake, make a cake in the shape of a football. There are lots of ways to make watching football fun. Weither you have friends over or its just the two of you, enjoy it.

Goodbye to Patrick Swayze

By admin on Sep 17, 2009 | In movies | Send feedback »

It is always sad to lose such an important person in the entertainment industry. Patrick Swayze was great at romantic movies. Ghost was such a great movie about love. And what can you say about Dirty Dancing, Patrick will be truly missed. He has done a variety of movies but he was great at romance. Good looking and from what I hear, just a all around great guy. We should all be greatful for what he has brought into our lives through his movies, interviews, and tv shows that he has been on. He is truly a great entertainer.

Although he led a life tht most people dream about, it was a life that was cut short. Our hearts go out to his wife and family. He will truly be missed.

Goodbye Patrick, we love you.

Everyone Wants Romance

By admin on Jul 6, 2009 | In Dating Advice | 1 feedback »

Romance, what a beautiful feeling. Everyone wants a little romance in their lives. Romance makes you feel special and loved. Plan something special with your partner in mind. Figure out what he or she likes to do and plan a special event around it. For example if your mate or potential mate loves to go on picnics, plan a romantic picnic lunch or dinner at a spot that you know they will love. Try to think ahead for any unforseen circumstances. They will know you were thinking of them if you are prepared for just about anything.

Even if you are not sure how to be romantic, try something. This will show your mate that you are thinking about them. There are several ways to make your mate feel special and loved.

Here are a few examples:

1. Write a poem or a note expressing how you feel about your partner or potential partner. Be loving and tender in the note and tell them why you feel the way you do about them. Tell them how nice, fun, and beautiful they are.

2. Place short romantic notes around where they will unexpectedly find them. Sticky notes are good for this reason. Stick little romantic sayings around for them to find. Each one will make them smile.

3. Plan an evening out from start to finish. Make reservations, plan where you can take a walk, or ride a horse drawn carriage in the park. Planing ahead shows your partner that you are thinking of them when they are not around.

4. When you are on your special date, make sure that you do not have your cell phone on or start looking around at other men or women. Give your partner your full attention. Make your partner feel like they are the only other person in the world that night.

Romance does not have to be hugh or expensive. Just making your partner or potential partner feel special is all it takes. Give them a gift or a card that means something to them. It does not have to be an expensive gift. Just something from the heart. Expressing love is on of the most natural and romantic feelings. Think of the other person, I mean really think of what they like, don't like, or may something they said they wanted.

Basically it comes down to listening and getting to know your partner or potential partner. Just listening to them and responding to what they are saying will make someone feel special and loved.

The Chase

By admin on May 5, 2009 | In Dating Advice | Send feedback »

Some people are additiced to the "chase". The feeling of getting to know someone you are attracted to, and knowing they are attracted to you is somewhat of a high. The first time you glace at each other, or hold hands, and especially that first kiss, can be an exciting adrenaline rush. You start doing things to get that other person to notice you.

Either way the pursuit of a new love can be very exciting. You have someone you are interested in but you are not sure if they are interested in you. You walk into a room where you feel they may be. What is the first thing that you do? You look around that room just hoping they will be there. Looking in every corner, at every face, you know they are there somewhere. Then finally you spot them and your heart starts racing, your palms start to sweat. How can I get close enough for them to notice me? Your mind starts thinking of ways to get their attention.

So you walk over to the area where they are and get as close as possible. Man they are gorgous. You finally muster up some courage to go say hi. The attraction, what a wonderful feeling. You find a place to talk and get to know each other a bit. You talk, laugh, and have great conversations. You are now on top of the world.

Then its time to go home. Its getting late and you just don't want to leave that person. You feel so good and so high you just don't want that feeling to end. But what goes up must eventually come down. Even though you exchange numbers and say goodnight, you will still feel that adrenaline for a while. How are you ever going to fall asleep.

That is the feeling that a lot of people are addicted to. The pursuit of that high feeling is why a lot of relationships fail. Don't get me wrong its a great feeling, especially if your feelings are reciprocated. But it is almost impossible to keep that feeling going in a true relationship.

A lot of people mistake attraction for love. True love is lasting and real. There are ups and downs. Try to keep you feet planted on the ground and take life as it comes. Don't try to force the issue, or devise ways to decieve someone into liking you and things will just happen naturally. It may not be with the person you thought you were in love with, it may be somone different but more suited to your personality.

Love yourself first and then others can love you too and it will happen naurally and without effort.

50 First Dates

By admin on Mar 30, 2009 | In Romantic fun, movies | 2 feedbacks »

50 first dates is one of the greatest romance stories of all time. It first came out in 2004. It is not only romantic but its also very funny. This movie is the true meaning of “Romantic Comedy“.

With Adam Sandler who plays Doug Roth and Drew Barrymore who plays Lucy Whitmore, you just can’t go wrong. The supporting cast is just as great, and the combination of them all is not something that is easily duplicated. From Dan Aykroyd who plays Lucy’s (Barrymore) doctor, Rob Schneider who plays Henry’s (Sandler) best friend, you will laugh throughout the movie. Check out the official website about the movie at Sonypictures.com\50first dates. You can find the full list of characters and the actors who portray them.

I am going to give a short description because I don’t want to ruin it for people who haven’t seen it yet. The story goes like this:

Henry Roth (Sandler) is a veterinarian at an aquarium in Hawaii. He starts off as the king of one night stands with the lovely women tourists of Hawaii. That is until he meets Lucy Whitmore. He and Lucy meet and spend a great day together. He really falls for Lucy. Unfortunately the next day he runs into Lucy and she acts like she doesn’t know who he is. Do you wonder why she doesn’t know him. Well it can only be one thing. She has short term memory loss. After a car accident, where she received a bad head injury, Lucy cannot remember anything that happened, any day after the accident. Once she goes to sleep, upon awaking she thinks it’s Sunday, October 13th no mater what day it really is. There is nothing that can be done for Lucy’s condition.

Henry just knows that Lucy is the girl of his dreams and tries everything to make her fall in love with him everyday. But first Henry has to convince Lucy’s friends, her father and brother that he is legitimate and is not out to hurt Lucy. The things Henry and his friend Ula (Rob Schneider) come up with will leave you rolling on the floor with laughter.

In the end I cannot tell you how Henry deals with Lucy’s short term memory loss. All I can say is it’s the most romantic movie ever. Lucy gets to experience a first kiss everyday of her life while Henry is courting her. How they figure out how to be together is just amazing and a must see.

I have to say that this is one of my favorite movies and I cannot imagine a more romantic thing then getting someone to fall in love with you everyday. Everyone should have someone in their life that puts that much effort into a relationship and has that much love for their partner. You will not be sorry if you purchase this movie. I have and I can watch it over and over again.
